Pugs U Gotta Save (P.U.G.S.) is a non-profit 501c3 dog rescue organization dedicated to providing for abandoned and surrendered Pugs in Central Virginia. P.U.G.S. rescues abandoned and surrendered Pugs from animal shelters, puppy mills and from owners unable to continue caring for their dog. P.U.G.S. provides our rescued dogs with safe, loving foster care, medical attention and behavioral training while seeking a well-qualified, permanent adoptive home. P.U.G.S. also provides public education on the needs of abandoned and surrendered animals, the importance of population control of domestic pets, and information on the uniquely satisfying responsibilities of Pug ownership and care.
